Backpack

 

Soft, zippered pencil case (no boxes or hard cases; can’t fit into our desks)

 

2 Boxes of 24 crayons or 12 twistable crayons (one for school & one for home)

 

2 Erasers and/or 6 pencil top erasers (extra erasers can stay at home)

 

6 Sharpened Pencils (extra pencils can stay at home)

 

Gluestick &  Scissors

 

6 solid colored pocket folders (blue, red, white, yellow, green, & purple) (5–10¢ at Staples)

Grade Two Red Composition Notebook for Homework (sold at Staples or Office Depot)

 

2 boxes of tissues for the class

 

2 Antibacterial Wipes (WetOnes) and Purell for the class

 

Old T-Shirt w/ name on tag & White poster board (Bring Wednesday for Art)

 

2 - 3 packages of white index cards for vocabulary cards (keep at home)

 

Construction paper for book reports (keep at home)

 

For the first day of school, all you’ll need in your backpack is your pencil case and folders.  Inside your pencil case you can put your 6 pencils, couple of erasers, box of crayons, gluestick and scissors. Inside your red homework folder put your book report & homework notebook.  Tissues, Purell, and Antibacterial Wipes can come to school on later in the week.
