Did You Know?

North End of Boston, Massachusetts

There are several ways in which we can raise funds for St. John School while shopping in stores you may already frequent!
Stop and Shop A+ BonusBucks
With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase where the Stop & Shop Card is used (including purchases made online with Peapod by Stop & Shop but excluding gift cards, pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases). At the end of each month, these points determine St. John School’s cash total which is automatically credited to the school. Please join the program and register your card today:
  • Website address: Stop and Shop Bonus Bucks
  • Under “Join the program” there is a button where you can register your card (on the right of the screen)
  • You will be asked to include your Stop & Shop card number (13 digits) as well as the first three letters of your last name.
  • On the following page, please use the express option by entering the school number for St. John which is 08384.

Target Red Card
If you are a Target REDcard holder please sign up for Take Charge of Education and designate St. John School as your chosen school.  Once you have chosen SJS, Target will donate up to 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target or Target.com and one-half percent (1/2%) of your Target Visa Credit Card purchases made* everywhere else Visa credit cards are accepted to the school.

Please enroll in the Take Charge of Education program via the link:
Target Take Charge of Education Program

* not including cash advances, balance transfers, and purchases of other cash equivalents, and minus returns and sales tax

Box Tops
A flyer was enclosed in your family envelope several weeks ago with a list of General Mills products that have Box Tops and explaining the way it works.  Just clip the Box Tops from the products and bring them to school (there is a collection box in the front entrance) and for every Box Top collected, General Mills donates the indicated amount to St. John School.

Campbell’s Labels for Education
Similar to the Box Tops program, Campbell’s gives St. John School points for sending in UPCs from their products.  See the attached link which lists the eligible products: Labels for Education

Each UPC earns points (there are 5-Point Products and 1-Point Products) that can be used to purchase athletic, academic or art supplies.  Please bring the UPCs (30 at a time) in an envelope labeled with your child’s name to school and place them in the Box Tops collection box. Similar to the Box Tops program, your child will earn a nut card.

Tyson Project A+
Clip and save Tyson Project A+ labels from participating products and turn your labels into the school. St. John School will then redeem $0.24 per label!  See the attached link which lists the eligible products: Tyson Project A+

Please bring in the labels (30 at a time) in an envelope marked with your child’s name to school and place them in the Box Tops collection box. Similar to the Box Tops program, your child will earn a nut card.

Matching Gifts Programs
If you do make a donation to the school directly, please keep in mind that many companies offer a matching gifts program.  The donation should be made to a 501c3 and the Annual Fund and/or Walkathon would be two events where a matching gift would likely qualify.
