A special “Thank You” to first grade parents: Peter Pagliuca, Rick Doucette, and an anonymous donor parent for the successful “Sports Raffle” drawn on December 15.
The proceeds have gone to purchasing Two AED (automatic external defibrillator), 24 purell hand sanitizer units with refills, and the beginning of retro-fitting the bathroom sinks with timed release faucets. The safety committee is proud to keep the safety and well being of our children at the forefront.

ST. JOHN SCHOOL
“MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY”

On Saturday December 5th, The “Inner-City Scholarship Fund Professionals Team” headed by Meghan Horan of the Catholic School Foundation came to St. John School of the North End, Boston. The group volunteered to “Make a Difference” and gave the school a deep cleaning, helping to sanitize the school from top to bottom.
Sister Eileen Harvey, Principal said, “the volunteers are invaluable, their efforts help to keep the school in tip top condition”. The volunteers involved were: Meghan Horan, Mary Francis Horan, Patrick McDonough, Siobhan O’Connor, John McDonough, Melanie Opacki, Matthew Cohen, Casey Bass, Susie Salerno, Laura Favret, Jesica Signor, Pirel Curcio, not pictured are William Tyner, and Alex Cook.
