Welcome to First Grade! Attached you will find a list of Sight Words and Short Vowel Words that were part of the KII reading curriculum. Since KII children do not get a Summer Reading List, it is recommended that you read with your child throughout the summer and review the KII reading words often. Continued practice during the summer will make the transition to First Grade much easier. I look forward to meeting you in September and getting to know your children!
