Grade 5 Supply List

Welcome to Grade 5!

I look forward to working with you next year in my homeroom.  We will do many fun learning activities and you will still have Miss Betsy for math and Miss Picknally for English.  I will teach science and socials along with spelling, reading, and religion.

Below is a list of materials you will need for fifth grade:

  • 6 spiral notebooks for vocabulary and notes*
  • 6 Pocket folders to hold important papers*

v I suggest that you get different colors or designs so they will be easily recognized when we are switching classes.

  • 1 package of 3x5 index cards
  • 1 soft pencil case – not a box or hard
  • 1 yellow, pink, or blue highlighter
  • #2 lead pencils
  • 1 glue stick
  • 2 Boxes of Kleenex at least 150 count
  • 1 roll of paper towels
  • 1 container of hand sanitizer
  • Markers and colored pencils will be needed for art, map work and class work.
  • 1 package of notebook paper and construction paper to be used for homework and projects done at home.
  • 1 stapler and staples to be kept at home and used to staple homework and projects if needed. I will not provide staples if you turn in work without it.
