February 2012 - Grade 7 News
February is here and with it has brought some colder weather but thankfully not much snow; how very different to our weather last year!
Progress reports went home last week giving everyone a chance to see their current grades. The great news is that there is plenty of time before the second semester closes for students to work towards improving those grades. Regularly completing homework, handing in homework and coming to class prepared with books and the necessary pens and pencils is a great place to start. In math class all grades continue to be busy and working hard. Taking notes and staying on top of any missed assignments is extremely important to make good progress, as is reading the question being asked carefully!
We start this month rejoicing and celebrating our unique identity as a School during our Catholic Schools week celebration. So many things at St John’s School are great, but our students are definitely the best! Don’t forget to join us if you can during the various activities we have planned throughout the course of this week.
I hope everyone enjoys a restful and relaxing February vacation. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with me should any questions or concerns arise.
Miss Cassidy
