LUNCH

IT IS REQUESTED THAT ALL STUDENTS BRING THEIR LUNCH TO SCHOOL IN A PAPER BAG.  NO LUNCH BOXES, PLEASE!

IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FOR LITTLE CHILDREN TO CARRY LUNCH BOXES, BACKPACKS, AND/OR ANY CRAFT THEY MIGHT HAVE WHEN USING THE STAIRS.  DISPOSABLE LUNCH BAGS MAKE life at lunchtime” A LITTLE EASIER.  PLEASE REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON HIS/HER LUNCH BAG.  THIS IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE BECAUSE SOME CHILDREN DO NOT RECOGNIZE THEIR OWN LUNCH BAG.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND IN A DRINK WITH YOUR CHILD.  MILK WILL BE GIVEN OUT AT SNACK AND LUNCH.  IF THERE IS A PROBLEM ABOUT MILK, PLEASE SEE YOUR CHILD’S TEACHER.  NO THERMOS, PLEASE!

BACKPACKS:
ALL KI & k2 STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A BACKPACK EVERY DAY.

K1:
ALL K1 STUDENTS SHOULD BRING IN A CHANGE OF CLOTHES, JUST IN CASE!

BOTH K1 AND K2 MAY BRING IN SLIPPERS TO REMAIN IN SCHOOL FOR THE WINTER MONTHS.

IMPORTANT DATE:
Please reserve Friday, September 18th at 5:30 pm

on your calendar.  We will have our first general parent/teacher meeting of 2009/10.

It is necessary that all parents attend so that we, parents and teachers, can begin the school year in a spirit of understanding and cooperation. There will be no daycare on this day. Enjoy the rest of the summer and we look forward to seeing you in September!

                                                            Sincerely,        Sister Eileen, principal

Ms. Marylou, K1 teacher

Mrs. Walsh, K2 teacher
